The IL 682 CO-Oximeter is an automated instrument that analyzes hemoglobin and provides oxygenation calculations from 65 microliters (mL) of whole blood. The IL 682 analyzes whole blood samples from human and some animal species for total hemoglobin, oxyhemoglobin, carboxyhemoglobin, methemoglobin, deoxyhemoglobin. It also calculates oxygen content of hemoglobin, oxygen binding capacity, oxygen saturation and also allows corrections for fetal hemoglobin (HbF) and will correct for turbidity, as well as alert the user to the presence of Sulfhemoglobin. Other features of IL 682 include simple fluidics, automatic self-cleaning, and 30 day THb calibration.
